I’ve been meditating on this change for over a year now. At first, the word “Yoga” felt complete...it means “Union” after all. But as I was journaling on my upcoming group offerings this year, I realized that the physical practice Yoga was a small part of the transformations that I’ve witnessed in myself and my clients.
The true healings that I’ve seen, firsthand, occur when we remember that we are not broken. That we are complete. That our beautiful, sacred bodies are the home to our even more precious spirit. Health and healing are cultivated through a deepening of knowing ourselves. The ability to listen to what we need (body, mind, and spirit), and honoring those needs with compassion and boundary setting. Healing happens when we are brave enough to stand up for ourselves and become curious about the unique blueprint for wellness that we each contain.
I’m passionate about walking alongside my clients as they knock down the walls that hold them back from remembering who they are.
When the name “My Sacred Spine” came to me, it felt like medicine. I’m not here to “fix” anything. I’m here to help you remember what a sacred, infinite creature you are, and support you in realigning anything that has blocked you from remembering that truth.
Some days, that may look like honoring your blessed body by learning about your spinal condition, and tailoring a practice just for you.
Other days, we’ll address the fear or crippling anxiety that each of us carry for way too long.
I lead groups of women into nature, reconnecting to the sanctity of the Earth and honoring our cycles through ceremony and ritual.
All of this work is a rediscovering of self. A deepening of our understanding of the physical, mental, and energy bodies. They are not separate, and all need to be tended with our most sincere attention.
I thank you all for witnessing my own journey as it unfolds, and to my ancestors, teachers and guides who hold the container for this opening to happen each day.
