Crystal Healing for Yule

My Sacred Spine Team Member and Reiki Master, Archana Edmond, gives us insight on a selection of crystals and stones that will offer us support as we traverse into the dreamtime of Yule.

 Garnet is a beautiful crystal that is comprised of many health benefits. I was recently presented a garnet chain as I have a Pitta body (retains heat easily), and Garnet helps to reduce and balance heat in the body. Working with Garnet can help you connect with your inner fire so you are able to get things done, making is a great crystal tool for Yule, to inspire you on those sleepier days.

It's also a great crystal to work with when dealing with trauma, as it activates and strengthens the survival instinct. It offers itself as a reminder to honor yourself and pushes you to set boundaries with others. Garnet also aids in:

 

 

C L E A R  Q U A R T Z

 Clear quartz is an amplifying crystal – meaning that it amplifies the energy of the other energies you are working with and other crystals surrounding it. Therefore, working with Clear Quartz around Yule can help you amplify Yuletide energy in your home. It is also known as the “Master Healer” due to its ability to absorb, store, release, and regulate energy. Clear Quartz can also enhance psychic abilities. It aids concentration and unlocks memory. It stimulates the immune system and brings the body into balance. Clear Quartz also enhances and strengthens the aura.

This stone will help you to find a balance between light and dark, especially for those who have difficulties enduring the long nights of winter. This is also a stone that helps with inner reflection by allowing things you need to address to surface, so that you may move forward. 

Snowflake Obsidian comes from the raw energy of the Earth. It’s the pure remains of lava that explodes and cools from a volcano. A stone of purity, Snowflake Obsidian provides body, mind and spirit balance.  It helps you recognize and release “wrong thinking” and stressful mental patterns.

Bloodstone has been used for thousands of years due to its unique healing properties. It is known for it's grounding properties and is often used to purify and detoxify the body. This beautiful crystal brings love into any situation and helps ground the negative energies surrounding that issue. It has the powerful ability to removes energy blockages and provide constant energy flow throughout the body. It can also be used to increase energy and strength.
